The most frequently asked questions we receive

Do I really get to keep the watches?

 Yes, you do!

We built this subscription model for you to build a collection of watches, so we aren't going to be taking them away from you anytime soon.

In no time at all, you'll have a watch collection large enough to match your wardrobe and personal styles. 

Are the watches high quality?

Every watch you receive will always have an RRP (Recommended Retail Price) more than the cost of your monthly subscription. That way, you're always getting a bargain!

The quality of the watch will of course vary by brand, however we do try to ensure that every brand we work with produces a high quality of watch, regardless of the price.

Upgrading to one of our higher tier subscriptions will generally ensure that you receive a more premium quality watch.

Are the watches under a warranty?

All of our watches are covered by the manufacturers warranty, which is usually 2 years. If you have any issues you should contact the manufacturer directly.

If you have any problems within 30 days of receiving your watch, get in touch with us and we'll do our best to keep your new watch ticking.

When will I receive my watch?

Our watches are dispatched around the middle of each month to all members that were subscribed in the previous month. For example, if you subscribe on 1st November, then your first watch will be dispatched around 15th December. 

Future subscriptions will be charged on the 11th of each month. In the above example, your second payment would be 11th December and not 11th November.

Note that this may mean your subscription's first renewal may occur prior to your first watch arriving. 

Do I get to choose my watch?

In a nutshell, no - we keep the mystery alive!

If you have any particular styles you don't like - let us know and we'll do our best to avoid them.

From there, each month you get hand matched with a watch that we have available.

What sizes are the watches?

The sizes of the watches are exactly the same as you would receive if you ordered directly from a store or the brand themselves.

Leather, mesh & synthetic bands will therefore be sufficient to suit most wrist sizes, whereas metal bands may need links removing.

Note that we can't guarantee band sizes, and if you need any additional links or accessories then we would advise you to get in touch with the brand directly.

How much does delivery cost?

Good news, if you're based in the UK then it's included!

We've structured our subscription prices to ensure that they include delivery costs, so there are no hidden fees.

If you are based outside of the UK then don't worry, it just means delivery charges will be added to your subscription, as follows:

UK - Free

Republic of Ireland - £9.95

Rest of World - £14.95

What if I don't like the watch?

Whilst we don't accept returns or offer refunds, we do run a Facebook Group called Clockwork Club - The Exchange (

In this group members are able to buy, trade and sell watches from their collection.

Do the subscriptions have a minimum contract length?


There are no minimum contract lengths and you are free to cancel at any time.

If you don't want to receive a watch next month, you can skip your renewal as many times as you like.

You can also switch between subscription levels as much as you want!
